LOVE sculpture at John F. Kennedy Plaza (Love Park)

The Robert Indiana LOVE sculpture became an iconic fixture of John F. Kennedy Plaza, commonly called Love Park, after a large version was installed there in 1976 and it quickly became a popular meeting spot and photo subject. The sculpture has been part of the park's identity and was temporarily removed during park renovations in the 2010s before being returned nearby. The image and wordmark remain widely associated with Philadelphia in tourism and local culture.
