Salesforce Tower-the tallest building in San Francisco and California

Salesforce Tower at 415 Mission St topped out in 2017 and opened in 2018; at approximately 1,070 feet it is the tallest building in San Francisco and the state of California. The tower's crown features a large LED-based artwork called "Day for Night" by artist Jim Campbell that is illuminated after dark as a public-facing light installation. The building's height and prominent illuminated crown quickly became a visible change to the city's skyline.
