Rockhampton Masonic Hall

The Rockhampton Masonic Hall, located at 112–114 Kent Street in Queensland, Australia, is a heritage-listed site built between 1900 and 1901. Designed by Eaton & Bates, this historic building serves as a testament to the rich history of Freemasonry in the region, which dates back to the establishment of the first lodge in Rockhampton in 1862. The hall was constructed to accommodate the growing Masonic community, replacing earlier halls that had become inadequate. It features remarkable architectural qualities and was celebrated for its acoustic properties during its consecration ceremony.
