McGonigle Hall

McGonigle Hall is an athletic facility located on the Temple University campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Opened in 1969, it originally served as the home for Temple men's basketball and has hosted various sports, including women's basketball, fencing, gymnastics, and volleyball. The hall has a rich history, including notable events such as a Revolutionary People's Constitutional Convention by the Black Panther Party and a town hall meeting with President Jimmy Carter. After a $48 million renovation in 2012, it now features modern training facilities and continues to host community events and concerts, making it a vibrant part of campus life.
