Austin Central Library

Austin Central Library, the main branch of the Austin Public Library system, opened in October 2017 and serves as a major civic and cultural hub for local residents. The seven-story building features public meeting spaces, a rooftop garden with skyline views, regularly scheduled community events, and extensive print and digital collections. The library was designed to support neighborhood programming, workforce services, and local arts and education initiatives. It is operated by the City of Austin's library department.
