U.S. Department of State (Harry S. Truman Building) access controls

The Harry S. Truman Building at 2201 C Street NW is the headquarters of the U.S. Department of State. Much of the building and its diplomatic records are restricted to cleared personnel; visitors are required to undergo security screening and are typically escorted while on the premises. The Department's Diplomatic Security Service is responsible for physical security and protection of visiting foreign dignitaries at this site.
