Otis House Museum

The Otis House at 141 Cambridge Street was built in 1796 for merchant Harrison Gray Otis and was designed by architect Charles Bulfinch. The Federal-style townhouse is preserved and interpreted as a historic house museum, illustrating elite domestic life in early 19th-century Beacon Hill. The building remains a well-known architectural and neighborhood landmark within the Beacon Hill historic district.
