The Vessel (Hudson Yards honeycomb structure)

The Vessel at 20 Hudson Yards opened in 2019 and was designed by Thomas Heatherwick and Heatherwick Studio. Its interlocking stairways and reflective bronzed steel made it an immediate, widely photographed architectural subject on Instagram and in online architecture coverage. The structure became a common backdrop for social-media photography and viral cityscape images.
