Grove House, Manchester

Grove House is an early Victorian building located on Oxford Road in Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester, England. Constructed between 1838 and 1840, it is recognized as a Grade II* listed building since December 18, 1963. The structure features distinctive scored stucco on brick, a hipped slate roof, and a notable round-headed central doorway adorned with a keystone and a fanlight with elegant tracery. Originally three separate houses, Grove House has been associated with the university since around 1952 and has served various purposes, including a student health centre, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring the architectural and educational history of the area.
