Produce Exchange Buildings, Liverpool

The Produce Exchange Buildings, a Grade II listed structure in Liverpool, was originally built in 1902 as a railway depot for the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. Located on Victoria Street, it played a significant role in the city's commercial growth, particularly as a hub for fruit and produce dealers due to its proximity to the docks. After serving as a produce exchange and later housing a NatWest bank, the building was revitalized in 2015, transforming part of it into two restaurants and 58 apartments. Visitors can admire its ornate south facade, featuring original mosaic floors and stained glass windows, as well as a war memorial honoring local service personnel from World War I.
