Austin–Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)

Austin–Bergstrom International Airport is the primary commercial airport serving Austin and the Central Texas region, located southeast of downtown Austin. The airport opened in 1999 on the site of the former Bergstrom Air Force Base and replaced the city's previous airport, Robert Mueller Municipal Airport. AUS handles domestic and international passenger flights and is a major transportation gateway for the region.
