Broadway Corridor Twin Towers

The Broadway Corridor twin towers were a proposed mixed-use skyscraper complex in Portland's Pearl District, designed by William Kaven Architecture. Standing at 970 feet, they would have been the tallest buildings in Oregon and the tallest twin towers in the Western Hemisphere. The project aimed to revitalize the 14-acre USPS Portland Main Post Office site and included plans for a sky-bridge, observation deck, and botanical garden. However, zoning restrictions limited building heights to 400 feet, and the proposal was ultimately not selected as a finalist for redevelopment in 2018. The ambitious design reflects Portland's architectural aspirations and potential for urban development.
