WorldFest-Houston International Film & Video Festival

WorldFest-Houston was founded in 1961 and is one of the oldest independent film and video festivals in the world. The festival presents the Remi Awards to films and videos across competitive categories. Festival screenings and events have included presentations at Houston venues such as the River Oaks Theatre. WorldFest attracts independent filmmakers to Houston for juried competition and public screenings.
