San Francisco Botanical Garden at Strybing Arboretum

The San Francisco Botanical Garden at Strybing Arboretum occupies roughly 55 acres in Golden Gate Park and cultivates several thousand plant species from Mediterranean and temperate regions around the world. The garden serves horticultural, conservation, and educational roles and has developed major collections and display gardens over the 20th and 21st centuries. It is managed by the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department in partnership with a nonprofit supporting its programs.
