Willis D. Gatch Hall

Willis D. Gatch Hall, constructed in 1938, originally served as an extension of the Robert W. Long Hospital, providing essential outpatient and clinical services. Over the years, it transitioned into an academic center for the IU School of Medicine, housing various departments including Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. The building features a rich history, including the invention of the adjustable hospital bed by its namesake, Dr. Willis D. Gatch, who was a prominent dean of the School of Medicine.
