Clear Springs Plantation

Clear Springs Plantation, also known as Dawson Place and Green's Thoroughfare, is a historic plantation house located near Jasper, North Carolina. Built around 1740, it features a Georgian style frame design and is notable for being potentially the oldest standing structure in Craven County and one of the oldest in North Carolina. The plantation was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
