Old State House (site of the Boston Massacre and public readings)

The Old State House is the historic building on the site where the 1770 Boston Massacre occurred and now houses museum exhibits interpreting colonial and Revolutionary Boston. The building's balcony was used for public readings of the Declaration of Independence in July 1776.
