Washington Park (Wash Park)

Washington Park, commonly called 'Wash Park,' is a large urban park in south-central Denver featuring two lakes, formal flower gardens, and a network of paths used for running, biking, and cross-country skiing seasonally. The park serves as the central recreational and social gathering space for the surrounding Washington Park neighborhood and hosts community events and sports leagues. Its landscape and amenities make it a longstanding neighborhood landmark.
