National Aerated Water Company Factory

The National Aerated Water Company Factory, an iconic example of Art Deco architecture, is a two-storey building that played a significant role in Singapore's industrial history. Completed in 1954, it was designed by architect K.K. Tan and could produce 48,000 bottles daily. The factory features unique elements such as a saw-tooth roof, a signage tower, and a sun-shading ledge. After ceasing production in 1999, it was sold in 2016 and is now part of the Jui Residences condominium, with efforts made to conserve its historical significance. The factory stands as one of the last remnants of Singapore's industrial past, attracting interest from both tourists and researchers.
