ASN Co building

The ASN Co building, located at 1–5 Hickson Road in The Rocks, Sydney, is a heritage-listed structure completed in 1885, showcasing Pre-Federation Anglo Dutch architecture. Originally serving as the main offices and warehouse for the Australasian Steam Navigation Company, it has a rich history that includes government use and restoration to its 1880s appearance. Today, it functions as an art gallery featuring the works of Ken Done. The building is notable for its unique design, which includes a polychrome brick and sandstone facade, picturesque Dutch gables, and historical significance as one of the earliest buildings in Sydney equipped with a water sprinkler system.
