Solacoglu Inn

The Solacoglu Inn, located in Bucharest along Calea Moşilor, is a historic site that dates back to 1859. Originally built for the Solacoglu Brothers, Bulgarian merchants, it served as both an inn and a pasta factory. The inn played a significant role during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, hosting key figures of the Bulgarian revolutionary movement, including Lyuben Karavelov and Hristo Botev. Despite its rich history, the building has fallen into disrepair over the years, with restoration efforts only recently initiated by the Bucharest City Hall.
