Mattie Midgett Store and House

The Mattie Midgett Store and House, also known as Nellie Myrtle Pridgen's Beachcomber Museum, is a historic site located in Nags Head, North Carolina. Built in 1914, the store showcases the Outer Banks Shingle Style architecture and features a unique collection of beachcombing treasures, including glass, shells, and other artifacts from local beaches. The house, constructed in 1933, complements the store with its distinctive T-shaped design.
