Nathan Goff Jr. House

The Nathan Goff Jr. House, located in Clarksburg, West Virginia, is a historic site that showcases a blend of Queen Anne and Second Empire architectural styles. Built between 1880 and 1883, this three-story brick dwelling was the residence of notable figures Nathan Goff Jr. and his son Guy D. Goff, both of whom served as U.S. senators. Although it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 and recognized as part of the Clarksburg Downtown Historic District in 1982, the house was unfortunately demolished in 1993 and delisted in 1994. This site reflects the rich political history of West Virginia and offers insight into the architectural trends of the late 19th century.
