Balboa Theatre

The Balboa Theatre opened in 1924 as a vaudeville and movie palace and is one of San Diego’s historic performance venues. The theatre underwent a major restoration and reopened in 2008. It now regularly hosts concerts, touring Broadway musicals, and other live music performances, contributing to the city’s music and performing-arts history.
