A.J. Andrus Duplex

The A.J. Andrus Duplex, also known as the Paul Pritchard Duplex, is a historic building in Mason City, Iowa, completed in 1921. This two-story structure showcases the Prairie School architectural style, featuring a unique C-shaped plan. Its exterior combines brick on the first floor with stucco on the second, characterized by a broad, overhanging hipped roof and bands of windows that emphasize its horizontal design. The duplex was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
