Perot Museum of Nature and Science (Thom Mayne/Morphosis)

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science was designed by architect Thom Mayne of Morphosis and opened to the public in December 2012. The building is noted for its stacked, angular volumes and a dramatic cantilevered box that creates a ground-level public entry plaza. The museum houses interactive science exhibits, a planetarium, and extensive natural history collections in a purpose-built facility.
