Hale Stadium ('The Hole') - Tennessee State University football landmark

Hale Stadium, located on the Tennessee State University campus and nicknamed 'The Hole' because it sits in a natural bowl, has been the historic home of TSU Tigers football. The stadium fell into disuse for major games in the late 1990s due to disrepair and was renovated and reopened for TSU events in 2012. Hale Stadium remains an important site in Nashville's collegiate sports history.
