Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park - Seattle Unit

The Seattle Unit of Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park interprets Seattle's role as a supply and departure point for stampeders heading to the Yukon during the 1897–98 gold rush. The Seattle visitor center presents exhibits on the city's merchant and transportation networks of the period and documents the cultural and economic impacts of the gold rush on the region. The park unit is part of the National Park Service and operates public exhibits and educational programs in Pioneer Square.
