Bull's Head Inn, Poole

The Bull's Head Inn, located at 73–75 High Street in Poole, Dorset, is the oldest building on central Poole High Street, dating back to the sixteenth century. This Grade II* listed building has a rich history, having served as a pub and later as a venue for corn accounts under the Corn Laws in the nineteenth century. The inn changed ownership several times, with notable figures like Mr. George Wickham and Mr. Beckingham. The building underwent remodeling in the nineteenth century and had a shop front added in the 1970s. It was used by the sandwich chain Subway until 2010 and is currently occupied by a recruitment agency, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring Poole's architectural heritage.
