Carter–Swain House

The Carter–Swain House, located near Democrat in Buncombe County, North Carolina, is a historic home dating back to around 1849. Originally a two-story log house, it has been expanded into a weatherboarded structure featuring two-tiered porches and a rear ell. The property also includes a four-pen log barn.
