Lan Su Chinese Garden

Lan Su Chinese Garden is a Ming Dynasty-style classical garden in Portland's Old Town Chinatown that opened to the public in 2000. The garden was constructed by artisans from Suzhou, China, and includes traditional elements such as a teahouse, scholar's study, ponds, and rockeries; it was created as part of the sister-city relationship between Portland and Suzhou. Lan Su functions as a living cultural installation hosting exhibitions, performances, and seasonal events year-round.
