Deacon William Leland House

The Deacon William Leland House, built in 1717, is a well-preserved historic home located in Sherborn, Massachusetts. This 2+1⁄2-story structure features a five-bay facade, a side gable roof with a central chimney, and simple trim, reflecting the architectural style of its time. As the residence of Deacon William Leland, a descendant of one of the area's first settlers, the house has maintained much of its original exterior, making it a significant example of early colonial architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, highlighting its importance to local history and heritage.
