Old Pharmacy of Hedemora

The Old Pharmacy of Hedemora, known as Apoteket Gustaf Wasa, is a historic site located in Dalarna County, Sweden. Established in 1779 by merchant Eric Hult, it transitioned to a pharmacy in 1849 under pharmacist C. A. Ruth, operating until 1988. The building underwent significant modifications in 1897, designed by architect Lars Israel Wahlman. Today, visitors can explore the main building, which houses a charming café and a shop specializing in building preservation equipment, making it a unique stop for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
