Frere Hall

Frere Hall is a stunning British colonial-era building located in the heart of Karachi, Pakistan, completed in 1865. Originally intended as the town hall, it now serves as an exhibition space and library, housing over 70,000 books, including rare manuscripts. The hall showcases Venetian-Gothic architecture with intricate designs and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Notable for its historical significance, it was named after Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere, a key figure in Sindh's development. Today, it stands as a major tourist attraction, featuring art by renowned Pakistani artist Sadequain and hosting various cultural festivals.
