Pinnacle House

Pinnacle House is a heritage-listed former warehouse located at 2-6 Barrack Street in Sydney's central business district. Designed by the architectural firm Sheerin & Hennessy and constructed between 1888 and 1892, this eight-level building showcases the Victorian Free Classical style. It features a distinctive internal structure of cast iron columns and wrought iron beams, with decorative elements such as fluted brackets and bay windows. Originally serving as a warehouse, it has housed notable companies and undergone several renovations, including a significant refurbishment in 1985. Pinnacle House was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register in 1999, highlighting its architectural and historical significance in the context of Sydney's development as a working port.
