Jacksonville Landing mass shooting (Madden tournament, 2018)

On August 26, 2018, a mass shooting occurred during a Madden NFL video-game tournament held at Jacksonville Landing in downtown Jacksonville. The shooter, identified as David Katz, killed two participants and wounded several others before dying of a self-inflicted gunshot; Katz had traveled to Jacksonville from Baltimore to attend the event.
