CBRT Tower

The CBRT Tower, or Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Tower, is a striking supertall skyscraper located in the Finanskent district of Istanbul, Turkey. Standing at 354 meters (1,161 feet) with 59 floors, it is currently the tallest building in Istanbul and Turkey, marking the country's first-ever supertall skyscraper. Construction began in 2020 and is expected to be completed in 2024. The tower is part of the Istanbul Financial Center, a project aimed at establishing Istanbul as a global financial hub. Designed by architect Şefik Birkiye, the tower features a blend of modern and traditional elements, with facilities including a conference hall, museum, library, and sports fields. Its innovative design addresses the challenges of height and earthquake resistance, making it a significant architectural achievement in the region.
