Cleveland Tower

Cleveland Tower is a striking bell tower and carillon located at Princeton University, designed by Ralph Adams Cram in 1913 as a tribute to former U.S. President Grover Cleveland. This architectural gem is a key feature of the university's Graduate College, showcasing Collegiate Gothic style. The tower houses the Class of 1892 Bells, a carillon gifted to the university during the class's 35th reunion in 1927, originally consisting of 35 bells and now expanded to 67, making it one of the largest carillons globally. The bells are played regularly by the university carillonneur and students, with special summer performances by international guests, offering a unique auditory experience for visitors and a glimpse into the university's rich traditions.
