Saeed Al Maktoum House

Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House, located along Dubai Creek in the Al Shindagha area, is a historic building established around 1896 as the residence of the Al Maktoum family. Now a museum, it showcases artifacts and images of old Dubai across nine wings, covering topics such as the history of the house, the Al Maktoum family, marine life, and social life in Dubai. The building, which spans 3,600 square meters, served as the residence of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum until his death in 1958 and is notable as the birthplace of his sons and grandsons, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in Dubai's heritage.
