Ryman Auditorium - 'Mother Church of Country Music'

Ryman Auditorium was built in 1892 as the Union Gospel Tabernacle and later became the longtime home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 until 1974. After periods of decline and restoration, it reopened as a year-round performance venue and museum celebrating American roots music. The Ryman is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is widely recognized for its historic significance and acoustics. The building continues to host concerts, tours, and cultural events.
