Icone Tower

The Icone Tower, also known as the BCDA Iconic Building, is a proposed skyscraper in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. Designed by the Danish firm Henning Larsen Architects, the tower's architecture draws inspiration from Filipino culture, particularly the Mayon Volcano and traditional Bahay kubo structures. The design features an elliptical cone shape for earthquake and typhoon resistance, with a public plaza at its base and a top observatory called the 'Light of Manila' that will project a beam of light. Originally planned to be 308 meters tall, it is now set to reach 275 meters with 36 floors. The project aims to reflect Filipino ideals and serve as a tribute to the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
