Kenton Post Office

The Kenton Post Office, located on Maine Street in Kenton, Delaware, is a historic Italianate building constructed in 1881. Initially serving as a store with a residence above, it became the town's post office in the early 20th century. This two-story structure features distinctive architectural elements such as roof brackets and 2-over-2 windows, and it has retained much of its original appearance. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, the post office remains a central hub for the community and a symbol of Kenton's historical economic prosperity.
