Desert Botanical Garden - Indigenous plant use interpretation

Desert Botanical Garden maintains living collections and interpretive signage that document traditional and contemporary uses of Sonoran Desert plants by Indigenous peoples of the region. The garden's exhibits and guided programs discuss ethnobotanical practices such as food, fiber, and medicinal uses of agave, mesquite, and other native species. The site is used for education about the cultural as well as ecological roles of desert plants.
