International Fountain (Seattle Center)

The International Fountain at Seattle Center was constructed as part of the 1962 Century 21 Exposition (the Seattle World's Fair) and remains a central interactive water feature on the Seattle Center campus. The fountain's jets and lighting are choreographed for changing sequences, and during warm weather visitors commonly wade in the shallow pool. It has undergone multiple renovations since the fair to maintain mechanical systems and accessibility while remaining a frequent gathering spot.
