Sundorph House

Sundorph House is a historic Neoclassical building located at Ved Stranden 10 in Copenhagen's Old Town. Originally part of a larger property in the 17th century, it has been owned by the Sundorph family since the late 1600s. The current structure was built after the devastating Copenhagen Fire of 1795, commissioned by tea merchant Mette Christine Sundorph. The house has been recognized as a protected building since 1918. Visitors can explore its rich history, including its transformation from a guesthouse to a prominent tea wholesaler, and its connections to notable figures in Copenhagen's commercial history.
