Yellow River Station

The Yellow River Station is a Chinese scientific research facility located in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard, Norway, established in 2003 by the Polar Research Institute of China. It focuses on various Arctic research areas, including the Aurora Borealis, glacier monitoring, and biogeochemistry. In 2024, research expanded to glaciology, ecology, and space physics. The station is operated by the China Research Institute of Radio Wave Propagation, which conducts atmospheric and ionospheric studies.
