Casas del Tratado de Tordesillas

The Casas del Tratado de Tordesillas are two conjoined palaces located in Tordesillas, Spain, where the historic Treaty of Tordesillas was negotiated in 1494, dividing the New World between Spain and Portugal. The older palace, dating back to the late 15th century, features the coat of arms of the Catholic Monarchs, while the second palace was built in the mid-17th century. Following significant restoration in 1994, these palaces now serve as cultural and tourist attractions, offering insights into the era of the Catholic Monarchs and the treaty that shaped Ibero-America.
