Charging Bull (Arturo Di Modica)

Charging Bull is a bronze sculpture by Arturo Di Modica that was installed without permission near the New York Stock Exchange on December 15, 1989. The 7,100-pound statue was later moved and has been on display in Bowling Green Park since 1989–1990. It remains one of the most photographed public sculptures in Lower Manhattan and has been the site of multiple exhibitions and public debates about public art.
