Jacob Wolf House

The Jacob Wolf House, located in Norfork, Arkansas, is a historic log structure built in 1825 by Jacob Wolf, the area's first documented white settler. This unique 'saddle bag' architecture features a two-story dog trot design with an upper floor over an open breezeway and a two-story porch. The house, which has undergone some modern renovations, is preserved as a historic house museum by the Department of Arkansas Heritage and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, making it a significant site for tourists and researchers interested in early American settlement and architecture.
