Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival (Japantown)

The Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual spring festival held in San Francisco's Japantown that celebrates Japanese and Japanese American culture with parades, taiko drumming, martial-arts demonstrations, food, and crafts. The event is organized by the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) and other community partners. It attracts tens of thousands of visitors and is one of the largest cherry blossom festivals on the U.S. West Coast.
